Siding replacement in Hudson and nearby towns
Siding is what our crews have done every day since 2015. We handle the full job, from tearing off the old siding to the last piece of trim, with new house wrap and flashing underneath.
Every siding job, in the order we do it
The parts you can't see after the job decide how long your siding lasts. Here's what happens on your house.
Permit and material order
We pull the building permit your town requires and order all materials, so everything is on site when the crew starts.
Tear-off and disposal
We strip the old siding down to the sheathing and haul everything away.
Sheathing inspection
We check the wall underneath for rot and soft spots and show you anything we find before fixing it.
New house wrap
A weather-resistant barrier goes over the whole wall, lapped and taped so water runs out, not in.
Window and door flashing
Every opening gets flashing tape and head flashing, the most common place for leaks.
Trim and corners
New corner posts, window trim, J-channel and soffit transitions, fitted to the new siding.
Siding installation
Installed to the manufacturer's specs so your warranty stays valid.
Cleanup
Daily cleanup, and a magnetic sweep of the yard and driveway for nails at the end.
Final walkthrough
We walk the house with you and adjust anything you're not happy with before we call it done.

How long does a siding job take?
Most homes take one to two weeks, depending on the size of the house, the material and the weather. Once you sign your contract, you'll get a start date and an expected finish date.
Do I need to be home during the work?
No. We need access to the outside of the house and an outlet for power. We walk the job with you on day one and at the end, and keep you updated in between.
Do you handle the building permit?
Yes. We pull the permit your town requires and schedule any inspections.
Can you match siding on just one side of the house?
Sometimes. If your current siding is still made, we can often match it. Older or faded siding is harder to match, and we'll tell you honestly at the measure whether a partial job will look right.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. The on-site measurement and written quote are both free. There's no obligation.
